TIP: If you want to use the brush and not have the white areas transparent you can: 1. Open a new image with a white background. 2. On a new layer, stamp the brush. 3. Use the Magic Wand Tool (check Contiguous) to select the background. Then right click and choose Inverse. 4. You can then use the Move or Transform Tool to move it. Thus keeping the white areas non-transparent.
